ExpressJet Airlines actively embraces programs to protect the environment. We participate in established on-board recycling programs that do far more than reduce the amount of trash going into landfills. All proceeds generated by ExpressJet’s recycling program are “recycled,” going directly into the airline employee assistance funds, and providing emergency relief for employees in crisis.

ExpressJet flies a young and fuel-efficient fleet of Embraer aircraft, reducing both fuel consumption and hydrocarbon emissions. These jets also are among the quietest on the market.

ExpressJet responds to our communities primarily by supporting not-for-profit organizations that focus on children, as well as our country’s military personnel and their families.

Since the April launch of our charity program, we have supported Kids Wish and Make A Wish Networks, LIVESTRONG, the Lance Armstrong Foundation, the Nickelby Project, the Girl Scouts, Bakersfield Fire Fighters and the Texas Honor Ride benefit for wounded troops at Brooke Army Medical Hospital.

ExpressJet supports charities in the cities we serve, donating our volunteer hours, and by providing air travel vouchers on the ExpressJet network non-profit organizations can use for fundraising.
